went to get my contact lenses but cldn't get to collect it again the lens doesn't fit my left eye so i have to wait for abt a wk. i'm nt really pissed though i've waited for abt 3wks already..... at least the pple there r doing their job in making sure u get a set of comfortable lenses..... hopefully nxt wk the lenses will fit perfectly. many things have been happening since the last time i updated this blog. commandos dying, nkf crap, terrorists bombings, oil prices rising yet again..... what's new? hope something new happens ard the corner soon..... my life is getting abit boring. been thinking abt getting a physics degree instead of a material engineering one recently.... trying to weigh the worth of the certs......oh well, maybe i will get a physics degree after i finish my engin PhD? many events have been happening recently. 1st there was the London Olympic victory then the stupid terrorists bombed London. Lucky my cousin was not affected. Lame terrorists. Now, S'pore's on higher alert for any signs of terrorism. before these 2 events, there were the many mysterious deaths of SAF personnel. yesterday, some CDO guy broke his leg during a parachute fall, think he wld have to downgrade after that.... poor guy... then there's the Asia Energy Crisis. yesterday, i finished watching Samurai Champloo in 1 DAY! its a great anime with a serious storyline and with loads of laughter... recommend u all to watch it! im going nuts!

went to watch WAR OF THE WORLDS last night. well valerie, the show is not lame. it scared the shit out of me during the early parts of the movie. Steven Speilberg? dunno how to spell hasn't lost his touch and Tom Cruise was great. the best parts was when the curious crowd were taking pictures of the alien machines and the aliens suddenly attacked. of cos the BEST part was when everyone was walking towards the Hudson Ferry getting ready to flee the alien ravaged county when the aliens suddenly appeared from behind the hills and started killing everyone. it was a cool and terrifying scene. simply love it. but the film was marred by flaws itself, like how the aliens died and how Tom Cruise's son can survive a huge explosion and arrive safely in Boston. however, while watching the movie something did scare me. the audience. they kept laughing whenever they saw the aliens attacking pple and dead pple. esp the part when Dakota Faming? saw dozens of floating corpses flowing down the river, the audience laffed. thats sick. overall, it was a good show, the film showed us that humans cannot afford to be arrogant in thinking that we are the only intelligent speices living in the universe and the ugly and good side of humans in the face of dangers and crisis.

ST reported that defilibrators are always carried around whenever there's a run or similar exericses... but i've yet to see it. the only thing that i always see are the big big bags carried by the medics.... Looks and Desmond and Wei Chang together with Huiyang would be leaving for EX Crescendo tomorrow. They wouldn't be back till the end of next month and that means I will have 3 less friends to spend my birthday with. SAF Day's round the corner. Time to cook up a superb entry to make a tribute to our tireless and hardworking defenders of Singapore - THE SAF.
Well, I must admit that my Japanese's starting to improving and I can read certain sentences and understand what they're saying ( stop smirking Frank) still, learning a new langauge is always difficult and it takes lots of practice and paitence. Looks like I'm still a long way from mastering the langauge but I will keep on trying on it. Seems like most of my friends are either involved in the NDP, which I've already lost interest in it long ago due to its repetition in programmes annually, or preparing for EX Crescendo in Thailand or the upcoming exercise in Taiwan. watched Batman Begins today. i really feel that this was best Batman Movie ever! Christian Bale really did portray Bruce Wayne as a man filled with guilt and a strong sense of justice. i hope theres another sequel to this movie. Initial D opens next wk though... gonna catch it to improve my driving skills......
seems that there's a slight drop in my standard of english. u wld have to blame the SAF for that... the organisation's making everyone more stupid. i've already forgotten most of my 'A' Level, and I'm sure most of you do. And i'm pretty sure most of u are starting to use words that do not exist in the dictionary. the government's always encouraging the nation to speak better english by organising the annual 'SPEAK GOOD ENGLISH' campaign but it doesn't seem to pay off... what i really do think is that if the government wants us to speak good english, the best to instill good english skills in males, they shld either scrap NSF or ask the Warrant Officers to speak good english. Warrant Officers are source of bad english, have u ever heard of the word 'buggeration'? well, that came from my RSM... as for the girls, im sure they already speak better english than us guys.

if u read the newspaper recently, u wld have come across an article on the front page of ST reporting that the average income of the bottom earners have increased by an average of $200 from 1998 to 2003. yes, i may be good newspaper for these folks since with an extra $200 they have at least abit of money to spare. but most pple tend to forgot the other side of the story. from 1998-2003, the prices of daily necessity have increased and i personally don't think that this $200 is enough to deal with the everyday stress of high standard of living here in singapore. personally though, i feel that an average increase of $200 over a period of 5years is quite pathetic... as what an auidence said recently on radio ' the government says that the economy is getting better and better yet i dun see a raise in our salary plus they keep raising the price of everything from GST to petrol and even the bus fare...' yup, singapore is really scary now, the price of everything is increasing and the government is taxing almost everything. one day in the future u may even be required to pay for the air you breathe. maybe i shld get out of singapore and go live in the mountains of the himalayas or the antartica!

Batman: The Dark Knight.

Finally, another Batman movie. Batman's one of the few superheroes that grew up with us (except for a few I'm you all know who.) along side with Superman, Spiderman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America. But among these superheroes I think Batman stands out alone himself. Unlike the other superheroes, he's one of the very few superheroes that do not have any special or superhuman powers. However, one thing I love about Batman is nature of its comics and films - they all tend to be 'dark'. Dark not as in the Dark Side in Star Wars, I don't really know how to explain. But if you do notice, Gotham City is like a sleeping city where everything is so 1930s, when mobs are abundant, crime is an everyday affair, where power is the word and the police are powerless. Also, if you do notice, Batman is the perhaps the only superhero to only appear at night, when was the last time you saw Batman fighting crime in broad daylight? The name, Dark Knight suits him well since he's anti-hero, and a 'Dark Stalker' as well... Also, Batman is the most successful superhero as he has made more movies than any other superheroes.

Now that they have done the movie BATMAN BEGINS and with Fantastic Four coming to a theatre near you and Spiderman 3 on the works, one can wonder what other superheroes movies to expect. Superman is already in the process of filming. Spiderman 3 which would most probably cast The Hobgoblin as Spidey's new nemesis is scheduled for 2007. I doubt we would see Hulk 2. X-Men 3 is coming out probably next year with a great possibility of seeing THE PHONIEX. Rumours that Iron Man, starring Tom Cruise maybe in the works and a Wonder Woman film. I hope that they do the Iron Man movie since he's one of my favourite superheroes too. But he doesn't have a REAL arch nemesis right?

YES! i managed to made Desmond watch another comedy. Once again, it has been proven that my judgement can be quite good at times cos Desmond said was a good show. Well, the film has made me wonder how my blood type shapes my character and stuff like that. dunno what happned to the previous post. too tired and lazy now to edit the html. anyways, after reading some stuff abt the jpop scene, it seems that my favourite Otsuka Ai and Mika Nakashima are doing well. however, Otsuka Ai is not as famous as her new counter part Mika Nakashima outside of Japan and I think she still is single. anyways, Mika Nakashima is a great singer, her powerful voice and mature song & lyrics make her an artise u must listen to even if you're not a fond japanese song listener. jpop artise r damn cool esp the female, but seriously, i dun think the male jpop singers r as gd as their female counter part. well, for one, i dun even knw any jpop male singers except ken hirai. but jpop bands r still gd as ever.

chatting with cheryl made me wonder what my future holds. i dun really knw what i want to do in university though i have a place in material engineering. business is too lame....how can u study business. psycology seems to be quite a fad..... but i think u need a master to somehow earn a decent salary, i mean, what r gonna do with a psyco degree? read pple's mind? arts and social science just doesn't seem to go anyway though i have no idea why so many pple are vying for a place in the faculty? basically locally, its mostly engin/business faculties. what i really want to do is study everything, well, at least abit of every thing. jack of all trades, master of none. i cldn't see myself working as anything but i always thought that i wld do good being a scientist or some sort of inventor doing outrageously outstanding R & D and getting a nobel prize for it. but i knw that majority of us, deep inside our hearts, we all want to be some sort of star/celebrity.

Had my first japanese lesson on friday. If you're thinking that I took up japanese so that I can go after kawaii japanese girls then you're wrong. You don't need to know the language to hook them up, you just need to be charming, thats all. It's mainly more for self interest. Well anyway, the lesson was pretty enjoying and it's quite a lot of fun actually. Plus, I had a not bad looking sensei to guide me through my learning of basic japanese. How cool is that to have a pretty teacher teaching you. Anyway, my sensei, Ms Nishio, really is from Japan, though I have no idea which part of that island she hails from. Most of the people are like working class and poly or jc or uni students. I really hope that after mastering the japanese language I would have the chance to hook up with Otsuka Ai and perhaps sweep her off her feet and get hitched with her. Yes, that is my ultimate dream, not fantasy. Ai Hui was a fantasy, a dream which would never happen. But a dream can happen if FATE allows.

Speaking of having a pretty teachers, I suddenly remembered for the past 15 years in the education system I've had alot of run ins with many pretty ladies as my teacher. A pity that most got hitched after I graduated or my class changed hands.... those were the days.

SW: ROTS is the hype now. Don't think I'm gonna watch it tomorrow since most people can't make it. Gonna watch it on monday with Nigel. Played DOTA with Harris, Clement, Guang Yi and Frank this afternoon. It was an unexpected invitation from Frank. But I quite enjoyed playing this game, being my first time and all. Frank is still the same at all. Doesn't realise he still is bitchy but it has toned down abit. Pity that I couldn't walk past Crystal Jade where Frank and his parents are having dinner and do some funny stuff, like waving frantically at Frank, licking at the glass panel where Frank and his family are having dinner, going on to introduce myself as Frank's 'best friend' in BMT and acting intimately with him at the table ( that would be the bomb!). It's such a pity. Maybe I should consider a future as a comedian and become the world's funniest guy ever alive.

the FA Cup Final was a disappointing one. The match was exciting but the result wasn't. Man Utd deserved to win the Cup but they had to waste all their chances to score. Particularly Ruud van Nistelrooy who missed most of the chances and Wayne Rooney was just unlucky not to have scored. This match concluded the end of the English soccer season which hasn't been going Man Utd's way. It's been a lame season for all Man Utd supporters including me. If I were Sir Fergie, I would be shouting my heads off at them. But what can I say? Football is never fair. AND THAT SUX, U BITCHES!!!!!!!

The Fart Report.

Ever wondered why sometimes you fart, though theres minimal sound, it smells so bad that even stink would say that it STINKS. Or why sometimes, you fart so loud, some guy across the face of the earth could even hear it and yet it doesn't stink? Or just the combination of both? Well, it actually has something to do with what you eat. And I'm sure most of you by now, know that already.

After watching some educational clips on the Nickelodean channel and Discovery Channel and plus some of my own experiences, I have found out what makes your fart, loud,soft, stinky, odourless. To give you a clear idea about what fart is, let's describe it in simple scientific terms ( I'm sure the bio students can give you a more in-depth detail). Fart is a gas released from your body system via your asshole. It basically contains H2S( Hydrogen Sulphide)and that's what make your fart stinks. This H2S is the result from the foods that you consumed and then broken down by the digestive system of your body. The more H2S, the more stinky your fart is.

Now the analysis.

The foods that make your fart so damn loud are beans. Green beans, red beans, black beans, long beans, yellow beans, whatever beans. They make your fart loud not stink.
The foods that make your fart stink are basically cauliflower, red meat, eggs and eating loads of garlic and curry make it even more powerful than German Gas!

However, it is advisable not to hold your fart inside your body no matter how much it stinks or how loud it is. This is because if you don't fart, you will get sick cos' you're not getting rid of the toxic gases in your body. So, the next time you feel like farting, just let it go. But just remember your manners.

looks like the Mercs will be sold off tml afternoon and i wun be seeing it for a very very long time. nw there will be 1 car in the household. figures that the petrol prices r soaring exponentially, $1.01/litre (unleaded) in 1990 to $1.89/litre (present day). it's too ex. i predict that all the fuel in the world will be consumed in abt 20-40yrs time and the world shall be plunged into chaos. with no means of transportation, since most transportation run on fuel, humanity will have to plunge back to the days of using coal and steam engines unless we have a new and more effective fuel. dun tell me that we wld have electric cars, electricity needs fossil fuels to produce and u need to charge the battery of ur electric car once the battery runs dry.

read an article abt the rise of some diet disorder in ST a couple of days ago dunno how to spell its pronounced as a-no-rac-xia. its on rise particularly among the secondary sch girls. its because pple give them bad nicknames like fatty, pig blah blah blah, all the nicknames u give to someone cos' they're FAT. i was fat once so i knew how hard it was. so nxt time before u shoot ur mouth and give someone a nasty nickname cos he's fat, THINK ABOUT HOW THAT PERSON WILL FEEL, ASSHOLE . for those pple out there who r fat, dun give in and sad abt wad pple say abt ur body and stuff like that. ignore the person or if u're so mad at him and can't stand no more, kick him in the nuts!

my mom told me that the merc is gonna be scraped. after 10 long years. the car which served as loyally is gonna be scraped. thats wad happen to most cars at the end of their 5 yr coe. dun think dad's gonna buy a new car though. gotta cope with having 1 car in the not-so-distant future. meaning i have to wake up freaking early at 5 and start preparing to go to camp. crap.hope i get lucky and win a car at some lucky draw.
read another article abt fat burning and building muscles. for those of u who go to the gym often. the article reports that a research in US discovered that doing 1 set of exercises burns more fat compared to doing a rep of 3. that is because the more reps u do, the more strain on ur muscle and thus muscle injury. yup, but the bottom line is dun ever exert urself when in the gym. another tip that i have is, when u wake up in the morning, try to do some exerices like push ups, 5BX all those stuff, cause that will help increase ur metabolisim rate which cld even last till the afternoon. high metabolism rate = more fats burnt........ i think.......

buying a car in singapore is damn difficult. difficult as in it's super expensive. though the coe prices have gone down abit, it's still too expensive. flip over to the cars section in the classfied sections of the Straits Times. look at the prices.

a Proton car costs relatively cheap. $13k w/o COE. with COE it's abt $65k. but i doubt u wld want to drive such a car. it has a reputation among the malays and the jb pple love it. the newly produced Mitsubishi EVO 9 cost $200k! a 2nd Ferrari Modena F1 costs abt $500k with COE bearing in mind also that there's no Ferrari agent locally and thus the high maintence fee. a Lamborgini Gallardo costs abt $2m.
Though high cost, the prices drop like rock from the sky. the Mazda RX-8 which was selling at $238K with COE when it 1st came out now costs abt $138k.

I've been like hinting my mum to buy me a car when im abit older. but all she says is ask ur dad or buy a house lah.... buy car for wad? true. it's my father that holds the money and a house is a more worthwhile investment compared to a car.
lets see. if i were an eternal SAF slave and assuming that im receiving a LCP pay of $490/mth and the car prices dun drop. a Mazda RX-8 wld take me 138,000 / 490 = 281.6 mths which is approx 282 mths = 21yrs 9mths. wow..... i wld be 41 yrs old already and y the hell wld i need a fancy car then? i'm so damn distracted by women drivers. be it on the road or in the driving circuit when i was still a student driver. those pretty girls behind the wheels sure do catch pple's attention. i remembered once there was this pretty girl driving in the opposite lane doing her parallel parking and the instructor asked me to do parallel parking also. i focused much of my attention on the woman rather than where i'm going and i knocked one of the pole. luckily it wasn't a test or on the roads or else i wld be in big trouble. pretty girls walking on the side road also distract me..... i dunno whether to focus on them or on the road. i remembered once when i almost knocked the bumper of the car in front of me while ogling at this girl....... i guess i better knock out this habit of mine before i get into some accident.when u get ur license and put the newbie triangle plate, those lao jiao drivers on the road wun give u face. they wld honk u, flash their headlights at u, dun give way to u on the roads whatever the situation. assholes. esp those taxi uncles. they will even overtake u and diao u. if i were an ah beng i wld speed him and wind down my window and shout 'kua simi lan jiao uncle? 1 on 1 ai mai?'. y r these pple out to make life difficult for newbie drivers? haven't they forgot they were once newbie drivers on the roads like us too?

had my TP test today. i thought that i wld be lucky to pass. and i did pass. the route i took was the dreaded teck whye route. but lucky there wasn't much traffic on the road. the heavy rain in the afternoon didn't help either. during the warming up session, i cldn't even see the black and white pole while doing the V and P parkings. luckily, the rain did subside as the test timing drew closer. the faces of the testers didn't help calm my nerves either. they all look like ur typical Warrant Officers with pms. the testor told me that i striked the kerb while doing the S-course and i was like 'huh?'. i swear that my wheel nv even touched the kerb. but luckily he did deduct any pts for that. looks like it was his judgemental error. then i had the delay in moving demerit pts and insufficient acceleration which i have no idea what it is and slow speed on the road and sharp turning and incorrect braking and failure to signal in good time. luckily these all had 1 'chance' whereby there's only room for error for each of these demerit items only once. so in total i had 16 demerit pts and which i felt was lucky given the fact that the tester looked fierce n unforgiving. of the 15 pple who took the test, only abt 5-6 came back with a pass. sad. that chiobu that was taking the test with me failed. what a pity. anyhow the impt thing is that i passed and im getting my class 3 license soon. now no more driving its time to learn japanese.

i watched An Eye for a Guy today and found it lame n amusing.... y u wld u tell a girl whos quite impressed by u already that u're average and stuff? damn lame singaporean thinking of trying to be humble. in the end the guy gt voted out of the game. serves him right. anyway this show made me think that mediacorp is biased against malays and towards ABCs and angmohs. notice that most of the guys in the game were ABCs and there was only 1 malay. im nt saying that more malays shld be in the show. but the programme is like saying that ABCs r the only handsome guys avaliable locally.plus nxt wk there will be 2 ABCs n 1 angmoh going on the show. maybe for the nxt series... they shld invite more ah bengs and ah sengs on the show. went to watch Wet Dreams with Kian Hai and Desmond.... wasn't really such a bad film except for the ending which was pretty meaningless...... slacked off much the whole of sunday..... playing and trying out FM2005 which finally worked for me after the FM that i bought cldn't work. strangely, the downloaded ver worked. quite an addictive game i say.
woke up late again today....... went to watch Guess Who. It's like Meet the Parents except it's a black and white version. not really as funny as i expected to be cos there wasn't really much serious black-white funnies..... wld give it 7/10 since there also some loopholes about ashton kutcher's job..... back off to camp tml.......

5 Fucked Up People you meet in a SAF Unit.

I have been serving the SAF for over a year now and it has given me loads of experience in dealing with different sorts of people from different places and units. And I could say that there are normally 5 kinds of fucked up people you would probably encounter in your entire SAF. This normally applies to the non-officer personel in the ARMY.

1. The Warrant Officer (WO)/RSM/ CSM who hates educated people.
The above mentioned fucker is very common in the SAF. He despises the highly educated people to the core and is always out to make life hard for them. Is often picky about your standard of work or your attitude. Often gives one extra or confinement for no good reason like, there's an extra knot on your ID tag (dog tag), you never pull your bedsheet neatly. Likes to threaten you with an extention of your ORD date by sending you to the Dention Barracks (DB). This case is normally at its worst when the above mentioned fucker is a WO from Commando or a Singh.

2. The backstabbing asshole you call 'section/bunk mate' or 'buddy' or colleague.
In the army, we sleep in bunks. 1 Bunk 1 or 2 section(s), depending on how rundown your camp is or how fucked up your unit is. And in the army, you get 2 buddies to keep a lookout for each other. You don't get to choose your buddy, your buddy is by default the people sleeping next to you. If you're unlucky, you get a person you would never to be your buddy your buddy. And sometimes, this 'buddy' can be a fucker. He can cause you or your section to be in some hot soup. For example, when some idiot from your section gets into trouble with an officer or WO or a superior and you or your section knows about it, YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO SHUT UP AND SAY ' I don't know orh....' and act blur. If your buddy is a honest stupid head, you all can whack the shit out of him and still like him the next day but if he's the wayang type and suck-ass type you all can whack him all day long and he would still think he's popular. This applies also to office heirachy in the SAF.

3. The 'niao gui' 'lao chu nu' chief clerk.

'SAF chief clerks all damn chio one lah!' that's what you will normally hear before you enlist. Most or all your seniors who have enlisted in the Army the year before you would say that, letting your fantasies run wild, thinking that female officers/ clerks in the SAF are damn pretty. Wait till you enlist and you will know the truth. In fact, most chief clerks are DSOs and most of them are pretty niao gui. For example, whenever we run out of stationery in the office and we have to get it from our chief clerk, she would only give me 3 pens and tell me to use it for one year. What the fuck is wrong with you. 3 pens to last the whole year? You must be crazy! Also, whenever I go around the camp, the DSOs and clerks that I see r all old hags and most of the NSFs would tell me that they've got bad temper blah blah blah. Offend them and you're dead! For they have the power to transfer you out to some chiong sua unit and get some fresh out NSF from BMT/SI/Storeman Course or wherever they deem fit.
4. Your garang PC/ Sec Com.
BMTC. When I first went to that hotel camp, everything looked tranquil and peaceful. It was till when I went to 'G' Coy PL2 that all hell broke loose. No, my OC is not garang, he's a joker. No, my PC is also not garang, he's a clown. Though my PS looks stern, he's a nice guy and inspiration to us all. My sec com 3SG LEON, an ABC, is also a clown. The specs and officers from my platoon are nice friendly people except for one, the ERIZEMEN. Born from the depths of hell, created by the sins of man. Made of pure evil and garangness, he's out to tekan those dare to cross his path. Yes, he is that scary. One moment he can be telling us a joke and while you're laughing your ass away, he will make you drop 20. Such fuckers, be it officers or specs, are common in the SAF. Especially among the regulars for specs and NSFs in the case of the officers. They abuse their authority because you do not have the rank. They abuse you because they think you are an embarrassment to them. They abuse you because they want you to be the best. Come on. It's only 2 years of slavery in the SAF. Why the garangness? It's as if your hard work in the SAF will be noticed by the public and you get a commendation for it. Such people can also be found in the SAF office work place where they normally recommend to charge you for slacking off or talking back to them.Fuck you bitches. Push us too hard and I will call the SAF Hotline.

5. Your direct superior. Meaning your CO.
The CO. Commanding Officer of a unit. Normally the rank of LTC and above. Can be friendly and relaxed or garang as Erizemen from Hell. Whether he is FUCKED UP or not depends on what kind of unit you're in. For example, my CO is quite a relaxed guy, nice and easy to approach. Got good stuff will share. Whereas people in 1CDO BN, their CO will whack them till they become PSYCHOS! However, this does not mean that people who are in combat unit will find themselves having a bad CO. For instance, the CO of 42 SAR is quite a relaxed guy. After their ATEC evaluation, which they got a B or average grade and even though their CO were captured on the 1st day of the evaluation by the OPFOR, they had CO night and there were loads of pretty hot babes dressed skimpily, showing off their flesh as if they no need to wear clothes. However, next to 42 SAR, which is 46 SAR, the people there are drilled hard, whacked hard, and fucked hard. Their CO is garang, since he wants to retain their Best Armour Unit tittle and probably he wants a promotion? CO is the 5th most fucked up person since he doesn't give a hoot about us 'man'.

ACE COMBAT 5 really let me remember the days of my childhood when I always wanted to be a fighter pilot. Flying the majestic fighter jet in the blue mesmerising sky, penetrating the enemy air defences and instilling fear within the enemy pilot whenever they see my squadron emblem. Well, that is all but a dream. A dream that I'm sure many kids like me had. Back in sec school, I still had the ambition though, actually, most of the guys in my class saw themselves more as a brave, courageous, charismatic Commandos or Guardsman Officer. (Now that I have entered the Army, I realised that most Commandos are arrogant fuckers who think they are the best and Guardsman r mostly blur-cocked and cocky at times.) That dream was gradually lost as I grew up 'cos I knew it was quite unrealistic for a fat guy to be a pilot, furthermore, I haven't been able to pass the IPPT since sec2. However, I'm glad that I didn't sign up as a pilot cause I know that it's almost impossible for Singapore to go into war with any country and that it's also impossible to be a pilot like that in the movie TOP GUN or in games who do stuff the way they like it and disobey a superior's command. Anyway, it's back to reality, ie, work work work, ORD ORD ORD, study study study.

On duty yesterday. Weekend duty is always boring. So, I played Ace Combat 5 : The Unsung War the whole day. Cool game. Bought 2 JPOP albums today. Ken Hirai's SentimentaLovers & Ai Otsuka's 1st album, LOVE PUNCH. Ken's 5th album is simply great, especially track 5 which is the hit song and i dunno how to pronounce it since it's in katagana. Haven't got the chance to listen to Love Punch but based on articles and reviews, it's said to be good if not, GREAT. Had dinner at TOME Japanese Resturant today. The young waitress really melted my heart away. I mean her smile and politeness that is. She isn't really the prettiest girl I've ever seen but she did melt my heart anyhow. Not many girls can melt my heart though many sure can attract my attention. Food at TOMOE was great just like how I first tasted it 10years ago.
Anyhow, I discovered that the pirated Adobe Elements Suite 2005 that I bought was a fake. The contents inside the cd was of another program. Will change it tomorrow. Downloaded the trial version of Adobe Photoshop CS. I'm trying to make a new pic for my new layout but I can't seem to recollect what was taught in sec school about the program. Damn it. Am reading online tutorials to help me jog my memory. Hope I can figure it out by tomorrow. Computer's going nuts on me again.

Frankalities

Source of Frankalities: It is not known how Frankalities originated but victims of this disease have a common trend. That is, they are bought up in an environment where they have a huge femine influence. Frankalities was discovered only recently in Dec 2003 at BMTC( Basically Military Training Centre) on the island of Pulau Tekong, Singapore, by Dr NH Wong, Professor GY Lee, Harris ( CEO of U.G.L.Y Inc.) and Clement Yong ( CEO of FUNGI Pte Ltd). The victim, whose identity shall be kept secret, exhibited a strange complexity whereby he started complaining and bitching about almost everything. This behaviour is largely uncommonly in the human male. Upon intense medical examination, the victim was found to be carrying a mutated strain of the Sissy-lis disease (found only to affect the human male) and the Bitcher disease ( foundly common on most human female). This disease can be transmitted only through a long period of contact with the Frankalities patient. Till this day, the above mentioned victim is still suffering from Frankalities and medical corps all over the world are researching intensely to find a way to cure this disease.
Frankalities: A disease that attacks the human male brain and destroys the brain's ability to think 'manly'. New research has also shown that the Frankalities virus has the ability to mutate the male hormones into female hormones. Symptoms of Frankalities include the sudden of loss of 'manly' speech and sudden urge to whine, gossip and bitch about everything. Serious patients of Frankalities tend to have the tendency to give names to each and every of their stuff toys like 'Snuffles' or 'Snuffie' and tend to get touche about almost everything. Frankalities patients often exhibit a sudden outburst of rude remarks about your looks, fashion sense and just about everything you. They also have a hate relationship for passionate sports like soccer, rugby and basketball. Frankalities patients have a extremely high level of PMS, which still cannot be explained scientifically, than the normal human female, thus, it is advisable to stay away from them and abstrain yourself from bringing up sensitive topics or even talk to them. Psycologically, Frankalities patients (FP)tend to think that whatever they do are right and justified, they are the best. Rebutting a FP's comments shld result in a huge bombardment of utterly disgusting comments about you and this could result in a sudden loss of confidence, pride and dignity about oneself. Solution to combat Frankalities:
There has been many proposed ways to combat Frankalities since its discovery. The most common proposed solution is to force the victim of Frankalities to participate in 'manly' activities such as playing soccer, staying out late, going out to clubs. However, the percentage of cured patients using this method is very low. Approximately 10% of victims recovered using this method. Till now, there is still no correct and safe method to cure Frankalities. However, with new medical science advances, a cure to Frankalities is possible within the nxt 10-20years.

caught Be Cool today with guang yi, harris and clement quite a disappointment that the rest of the gang didn't caught up as Nas had a last min L/F briefing and Desmond answered my phone call to buy his tix by 15mins, apparently Frank the biatch was too busy nerding ard to come and dunno wad happened to KH and WC apparently was too broke and tired to make it. the movie wasn't bad, the vocals in the movie was great, didn't even knew The Rock cld sing. The Rock was quite farnie in his role as a GAY bodyguard and the rest of the cast were equally funny and smooth with Travolta being his self. today's meeting kinda reminded me of the nickname that I gave Harris during our BMT days. U.G.L.Y = Uniquely Gross Looking Youth (TM). Bought the latest album of Mika Nakashima at HMV which cost me $18.95. it's a pity that there aren't any JPOP parallel imports , except for Ayumi, if nt i wld had bought the latter one. today i decided to get a regular pair of contacts, the Itachi sharingan contacts can wait. there's a cosplay event coming up this year, maybe i shall take on the role of Uchiha Itachi. Imagine Itachi taking a bus to the event, that's like so damn out of place. Lastly, there was a trailer on the upcoming SW EP3: ROTS which was so darn cool that it blasted me away. It's a must watch! maybe will dress up as a jedi to watch the show?

harris and kian hai commented that Otsuka Ai resembled Cyndi Wang. well, i dun think so. both r cute but in different ways. Cyndi's the school girl type of cute, bubbly and full of energy. Otsuka Ai is lovey-dovey type of cute, always in a dazed. so here's a pic of comparison between the 2. u shld notice some major facial differences the 2 artistes have. eyes esp.

miraclously, i passed my IPPT today with 2.4 having a timing of 11.54 and passing the pull up station with relative ease... this is the 1st time i passed my ippt in my entire SAF days till now, feels so gd. think this is the last IPPT i have to take till I ord.... good riddance..

2.4 shall be my 'ba ka'!

Today's 2.4 practice run was a little disappointing.... I only managed to shave off 6secs off my last best timing of 12.53 min and abt 20s off my last test run which was taken last sep before i went for signal course in October....well, at least that puts me alittle closer to my target time of 12.20min.... think i can manage to pass every station including pull up........ pull up is always a up & down station for me....
been reading men's health for afew mths and i notice that most of these guys with great looking figs use the alternate training routine where they do cardio exercises and muscle training alternately..... maybe i shall i try that starting from nxt weak to see if it helps my stamina and strength. good luck for the IPPT tml, for me that is.... Hopefully, with some tremendous luck, I can pass 2.4

i'm a step closer to getting my Itachi Sharingan contacts locally after getting some pretty useful info from my pri sch fren yan ling now knwn as constance today in camp was particularly boring since my colleague took back his PS2 set so i was left with literally nth to play with.luckily i bought along some manga to read to pass time. ippt on fri... just knw that i cld either pass it with some luck or fail marginally.... gonna go and time myself for 2.4 tml morning.... im sure i have improved quite abit since i started running abt 3-4 clicks every evening abt 2-3wks ago... just hope all these efforts will nt go wasted....

so she's finally back but i do nt have the courage to even speak to her i just can't seem to find my voice whenever i open my mouth to speak to her. i wonder y. i can't breathe properly when i see her, my mind's in a blank. now i just sit there and watch her. i saw her today though and i didn't even dare look at her, only caught a glimpse of her with the corner of my eye. i wonder y. i've never been like this before. it's been quite sometime since either of us had a proper conversation. hope i cld muster up some courage to speak to her hopefully by thursday.everything's been messed up since that day. how i wished i cld had said yes that day and maybe everything wld be diff. for now i cld only admire her from a distance.

didn't do much today as i was still feeling abit tired after yesterday's range except for going for a 4km jog in the evening have to go back to camp tml though and that sucks. well, after range it's time to gear up for my upcoming IPPT which i hope to pass or at least improve on last year's performance after failing my 2.4km run by 33sec. tried to start on some serious work on my Force Impulse but paint problems bogged down my progress hope i can at least complete some of it by thursday....

Range ended earlier than expected today, after clearing and sending arms it was abt 2230 reached home at abt 2300 by taking a cab from PLC.... overall a shagged day but quite enjoyable considering I spent the day shooting live rounds...Conducting was damn act garang didn't like him at all, he's just like Frank.....as in looks and everything except he's abit taller

I found out the Uchiha Itachi contacts may not be avaliable locally here in Singapore. Have to import them all the way from maybe the U.S and they cost quite a bomb. US$200 for a pair and abt US$300 with degree specifications and shipping.... US$300 + purple finger nails to look like Itachi? Anime Rental Shop....??

better write this down b4 somebody steals my idea.... yesterday while talking to cheryl online we came across the topic of anime rental shop and i was wondering.... whether it's possible to set up one in Singapore. There's already a huge anime fan base here and it's still growing by the day as Animax (cable) & Kids Central are getting bombarded with animes such as Cyborg 009 and Gundam series and other cool animes. Besides this there is also a huge manga fan base here, as u all knw manga is closely related to anime and vice versa. almost everybody here loves anime and manga but its EXPENSIVE to buy a series of Anime to watch or collect so i was wondering maybe an anime rental shop here cld solve this problem? anyways i really hope to open an anime cum manga rental shop one day......

went for my last auto driving lesson before i could bk the TP Test under the new stipulation by BBDC.... made a wrong turn on the road and the instructor took me to some damn ulu place.... 1st went past MINDEF then to Kranji Industrial Area where the trailer and big cargo trucks played a game of cat & mouse with me on the road by changing lanes and overtaking me..... CRAZY DRIVERS!!! after that went all the way to the back of Bt Timah Hill which i nv in life went there b4 in my whole life.... i think the instructor also siao wan.... stop at the junction den suddenly tell me see whether can short cut and turn right or not... lucky behind no car zhen de shi SHEN JIN BING loh!! well but after this lesson can finally go for TP Test and hopefully pass it on my 1st attempt which i think highly probable given my skills in driving... muahahahaha!

Anyway I picked up a copy of Newtype Japan while on my home at Taka Kino. It's an anime magazine which gives u up to date news and info abt the latest anime in Japan.... i normally dun buy it given its price tag but this mth's copy is an exception since the cover features Kira & Lacus Clyne from Gundam Seed and it also includes a nt for sale edition of 1/144 Force Impulse and 2 sets of decals for the upcoming 1/100 Zaku Warrior and the current 1/144 Force Impulse models and also a poster featuring the ZAFT team in GSD.... i mean like how generous non-local mags are....unlike singapore mags... which give u like $1 voucher for some stuff that u dun even have uses for....? anyway here's a picture of the Newtype Japan i picked up today....

did nothing of much today except going down to the comic shop at seragoon to read some manga. picked up Bleach 18 and a comic called Wu Zhuang Lian Jing (dunno what's it called in Jap though). Both were pretty enjoyable especially Bleach. Anyway Wu Zhuang Lian Jing is a manga written by the author Rurouin Kenshin which is another great piece of work btw. In addition to that, I rented 3 volumes of Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle which I would say turns out to be better than what I expected. Anyway, I'm hoping for nxt wk to arrive so that I can dl my weekly dosage of Gundam Seed Destiny and also eagerly for the range to get over soon.

Anyway, I found this picture of a cosplayer playing the role of Cagali Yula Athha from Gundam Seed. Ain't she a beauty? I mean, this picture personifies the other side of Cagali in the anime series, who is one of my favourite character in the entire series.

yesterday's IMT and TH test at PLC was damn sian... after all the proning and kneeling, i felt 'old' i mean like the last time i ever had to prone or kneel with a 3.6kg M16 rifle was like during field camp. at yesterday's IMT i realised that after one year of slacking in the OPSROOM, i cloudn't even hold a rifle without my hands trembling..... sometimes i wished i were in some chiong sua unit but then again if i were in a combat unit..... i guess i wun be here writing this blog nw? haven't been going out for the past coupla of days... maybe will catch a movie later on? probably Hostage or maybe even SPONGEBOB!!! wheeeeee!!!!!!!
